Substitution Policy: Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers are necessary due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability of specific floral and materials selections. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, our designers will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute with items of equal or higher value.
Same Day Delivery: Orders placed online before 11am ET can typically be delivered same day, Monday through Saturday. If you would like to place a same day order after 11am ET, please call 301.986.0986 to inquire about availability and we will do our best to accomodate your request. Chevy Chase Florist does not offer delivery service on Sundays.
Timed deliveries: We are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time, but can typically offer a four hour window as requested. You may request a time frame in the special instruction box when ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that we are unable to accomodate timed deliveries for major floral holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).
Sympathy Arrangements: If you are purchasing an arrangement for a funeral or memorial service, please contact us at 301.986.0986 so that we may coordinate logistics with the funeral home and family of the deceased to ensure timely delivery.
Undeliverable Orders: Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor or secure location on the premesis, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for alternate delivery. The customer assumes all liability for special requests to leave arrangements in unattended areas such as front steps, porches, etc. Chevy Chase Florist cannot assume responsibility for missing or faulty gifts due to this special request.
Canceling an Order: Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of florist delivered products we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process, en route or delivered. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please contact us at 301.986.0986.
Return and Exchange Policy:
For Non- Deliveries - For circumstances beyond our control (incorrect address provided by the customer, recipient out of town, etc.), we will make every attempt to redeliver but cannot offer a refund for products and services provided. If your order was never delivered due to a shop error, a replacement arrangement will be delivered at no extra charge and we will refund the original delivery charge. If you do not want a replacement of your order, then we will issue a full refund of your order.
For Quality Issues - If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to request a replacement at no additional charge. To be eligible for a replacement, please provide proof of quality issues by emailing a photo of the original arrangement to info@chevychaseflorist.com. Replacement requests submitted beyond this period will be determined on a case by case basis.
